The Kolpa River
The Kolpa River is one of the most beautiful rivers in Slovenia. It lies mostly on the border between Slovenia and Croation in the south-east part of Slovenia. There you can find many activities to do, especially in the summer time. Most popular is rafting or kayaking. The river is quite calm so it is suitable for almost anyone even kids. From time to time you will come to some rapids but nothing very special. At some dams you should take a boat down by your hands. Other activities are swimming, camping, cycling, hiking, etc. There are many camping places that can be quite occupied in the high season cause some people prefer to go to Kolpa River than at seaside.
