Logar Valley is one of the most wonderful valley in Slovenia. It lies inside Kamnik-Savinja Alps so when you walk around the valley you have a beautiful view on the mountains around. There is walking trail from the start to the end of the valley but you can also use the car if you prefer. I suggest you to hike if you have time cause you will get most of the valley. On the way through the valley you can see Chapel of Christ the King, source of Crna, Charcoal-burner's Hut, Palenk Waterfal, Plesnik's Elm and the best of all Rink Fall at the end of Valley. If you still have energy then climb to Okreselj Mountain Hut. On the way there you will see source of River Savinja and enjoy in beautiful view on the mountains and Logar Valley. In the neighbourhood of Logar Valley you can see other interesting places like Robanov kot Valley, Solcava, Podolseva with Potocka zijalka Cave, Olseva, etc.

Pericnik Waterfall
Pericnik Waterfall is one of the most famous waterfalls in Slovenia. It lies in the Triglav National Park in Vrata Valley where you have to turn in town Mojstrana. A few kilometers from Mojstrana is small parking area where you can leave the car and walk about 5-10 minutes to the Lower Pericnik Fall. A little further is also Upper Pericnik Fall. Both are nice and interesting but bigger is Lower Pericnik Fall that can be seen also from the road at parking area. It is possible also to walk below the waterfall.

Triglav
Triglav (2864 m) is the highest mountain in Slovenia. It lies in the Triglav National Park and it is the only national park in Slovenia. If you like hiking, nature, mountains then you must visit it if you come in Slovenia. There are many different ways to come to the top of Triglav summit. The easiest way is from Pokljuka or Krma Valley. It takes about 6 hours in one direction so you have to start with your hike very early if you want to go there and back in one single day. But anyway you can sleep in some of many mountain huts around Triglav but be careful in summer when more people want same so it can be everything occupied. And be careful about weather especially in the afternoon when thunderstorms are more often in summer. At the top of Triglav is Aljaz Tower that is symbol of Triglav (see photo).

Mangart
Road to the Mangart Saddle is one of the most interesting Alpine roads in Slovenia. All the way you have nice views of Julian Alps. You must be carefull cause sheep can cross the road. During the drive you can stop beside the road and enjoy in views. When you come to the Mangart Saddle (more than 2000 m above sea level) you can park somewhere near road and continue to walk to Mangart summit. Choose Italian way if you are not so much experienced mountaineer. But anyway it takes about 2 hours to come to summit, so choose good shoes and don't go in bad weather.
