Piran
Piran is for sure one of the most beautiful cities in Slovenia. It is old mediterranean town located near Adriatic Sea. In Piran you can see some nice old squares like 1st May Square, Tartini Square and Brotherhood Square. All of them are surrounded with nice old buildings. It is nice to sit down at some restourant on Preseren Quay and breath fresh sea air. St. George Church is located on small hill above the city so it would be hard to miss it. From there is nice view in Strunjan direction. I suggest you also to climb on town walls where is good view on the city and around.

Ljubljana
Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia. It is probably the most visited tourist spot in Slovenia. If we compare Ljubljana with other capital cities in Europe we can say that Ljubljana is very small. But being small is advantage in this case. Ljubljana has its own special charm especially if you walk in the old town centre that is situated along river Ljubljanica. There is really nice to sit down, watching around people passing by and of course also nice old buildings. If you like to hike a little you can climb on the hill where is Ljubljana Castle. If you are lazy you can use funicular railway. If you like to escape from the city centre you can walk to the Park Tivoli. If you like to go shopping you have to visit BTC City where are hundreds of shops, cinema, water park ...
