Brezice

Brezice is old town near Croatia border. The most interesting sight in the city is Castle Brezice. Inside the castle is museum called Posavski museum where you can see a lot of differenct collections from different periods of Brezice history. You will be amazed with Knights' Hall that really looks great will all those paintings on the walls and ceiling. I suggest you to walk around old town centre where you will see some nice buildings. I am sure you will not miss Aqueduct tower where you have to come in and drink something.

Piran

Piran is for sure one of the most beautiful cities in Slovenia. It is old mediterranean town located near Adriatic Sea. In Piran you can see some nice old squares like 1st May Square, Tartini Square and Brotherhood Square. All of them are surrounded with nice old buildings. It is nice to sit down at some restourant on Preseren Quay and breath fresh sea air. St. George Church is located on small hill above the city so it would be hard to miss it. From there is nice view in Strunjan direction. I suggest you also to climb on town walls where is good view on the city and around.

Maribor

Maribor is 2nd largest city in Slovenia. It is located quite near border with Austria. Tourists have a lot of possibilities how to spend days in Maribor. There is interesting old city centre with many historic squares, museums, festival Lent, oldest vine in the world, Pohorje hill, parks, spas ... I like to walk around Maribor park, especially around Three ponds. It is nice to sit down at some bar at Lent near river Drava. In the city you can find also a lot of different restaurants to eat something after tired day.
