Ptuj is interesting old town that exists even before Roman time and lies near river Drava. In the town you can see still many remains from Roman time. I suggest you to walk through old town centre and see
Minorite Square with Minorite Monastery,
City Square (Mestni trg) with City Hall,
Slovene Square (Slovenski trg) with City Tower, etc. Above the city is Ptuj Castle with wonderful view of the town with Ptuj Lake. Must see visit is also Castle museum with many nice rooms and also wine cellar where you can taste wines from neighbourhood. For wine lovers is must see destination
Ptuj Wine Cellar where you can see big old barrels in the underground of the city with tasting wine at the end. Just near the town Ptuj you can visit Terme Ptuj with many outside pools and good welness offers in Primus Hotel.
