Ljubljana Zoo is one of the most visited tourist attractions in
Slovenia. It is located not so far from the centre of Ljubljana at foothills of the Roznik Hill. There are a lot of trees so it will not be a problem to walk around zoo even in hot summer days. For tourists it is best to use some local bus or taxi to get there but it is also possible to go there on foot. In Ljubljana Zoo you can find many different animals from all over the world. You can see elephant, giraffes, gepard, lion, bears, wolves, wallabies and much more. There is also
terrarium where you will see snakes and some real big spiders. At some part of the zoo you can have direct contact with animals like pigs, goats, sheep, etc. This part is especially interesting for kids.
